Each Boys' Brigade Company is divided up into sections as follows, each with their own programme of activities:

Anchor Boys - 5 to 8 years old
Junior Section - 8 to 11 years old
Company Section (Discover Programme) - 11 to 15 years old
Seniors (Challenge Plus Programme) - 15 to 18 years old
