The Boys' Brigade enjoys an excellent reputation for providing a safe environment for its children and young people to enjoy activities. All our adult leaders follow clear safety guidelines and undertake training appropriate to their role.

The BB's 'Code of Conduct' is a pocket sized card that all leaders in the BB have a copy of. It contains information on how to report concerns or allegations of abuse and a code of conduct of behaviour for all adults working in the BB.

We also encourage our volunteer leaders to undertake further training troughout their time in the BB to enhance their skills and understanding of childrens and youth work.

All of our leaders go through a procedure of registration and as a part of this will complete a Criminal Record Check.

For more information about the application process, please visit the CRB page on The Boys' Brigade's national website by clicking here.

You can also find more information on the Independent Safeguard Authority website by clicking here.
